The Magpies Festival takes place 14-15 August 2026 in York’s Sutton Park, a big estate with ancient trees and open lawns. It’s a celebration of folk, roots, and acoustic music with a thoughtful lineup and a laid-back atmosphere.
The 2026 lineup includes Mànran, Cut Capers, Katherine Priddy, Gnoss, Blair Dunlop, New York Brass Band, Daraa Tribes, and of course The Magpies. Alongside the music, you’ll find creative workshops, local food and drink, family activities, and a crowd that’s as friendly as the music is good.
