Most private gatherings hit the same wall: the venue is gorgeous but only sleeps a fraction of the guest list. Local hotels mean taxis. Camping means tents and airbeds. Bell-tent popup hotel means a styled tent with a real bed at your venue, walkable from the party.
Hosts typically book the popup hotel and invite guests to either pay direct (we host a private booking page) or have it included as their gift (host pays).

50th birthday, country house, 60 guests, Saturday-Sunday.

Alternative: guests pay direct via a booking page priced for your event. Host pays delivery only (£200). The same shape worked for 3 weddings and 2 birthdays in 2025.

Common questions
Birthdays / anniversaries / private retreats?
All of those. The most common shape is a private estate or country house that sleeps 10-20 indoors with a guest list of 30-60. We add the popup hotel for the overflow.
Will my venue let you set up?
Most country-house and estate venues are happy. Some require basic damage deposit or set their own rules around vehicle access. Send the venue name and we will sort it.
Self-pay or host-pay?
Either. If you want guests to pay for their own tent we set up a private booking page. If you're hosting and paying for everyone we invoice you direct.
Catering?
We don't cater. We do work with caterers regularly and can recommend reliable ones in your area. Bell tents work fine alongside a marquee or stretch tent for the food + dance.
Smaller events worth doing?
Our minimum is 5 bell tents for venues under 2 hours from York, and 10 for longer journeys.
