Pitching a stretch tent on the Cheshire plain.
Big well-drained lawns with mature specimen trees on them, which is the Cheshire pattern. Those trees are the reason to use a stretch tent here: we can run the canvas around a cedar or an oak and keep it in the picture. Ground is soft enough to peg properly and flat enough to carry a full span.
Two hours each way. The build is always the day before, never the morning of, and we want the access details and a photo of the ground up front, because a wasted trip at this distance costs a day.
