Coastal sites need a careful check of wind exposure as well as ground and access. Send photos of the pitch and its surroundings. We will tell you if the site is unsuitable for a stretch tent.
Scarborough is inside an hour of the yard, so we build the day before and take it down the morning after with no overnight for the crew. Late changes to the layout are usually still workable.

We hire stretch tents. Same job, different shape.
A marquee is a rigid aluminium frame with vertical walls and a fixed rectangular footprint. It wants level ground, or a subfloor to make the ground level, and the site has to suit the rectangle.
A stretch tent is tensioned canvas held on aluminium poles and steel ground anchors, with no rigid frame. Its open sides and curved roof can suit gardens, courtyards and field sites. We check the space, ground and exposure before agreeing a layout, and follow the manufacturer’s setup and weather limits.
Prices start at £995 inc VAT fully set up, and a Medium at £1,750 covers 120 seated. If a framed marquee really is the right answer for your event, we will say so.

Festoon lighting needs around 1kW per tent, so you will want a generator or a venue hookup. We will talk that through before the day.

Will it cope with the weather in Scarborough?
Coastal wind can rule out a site or change the plans for an event. We assess exposure and the forecast against the manufacturer’s limits; a low canopy does not make every coastal site suitable.
Do you provide furniture, tables and chairs?
Trestle tables and bench seating come from us, sets that seat 8 to 10, delivered and set up with the tent, along with the flooring, lighting and heating. For chairs, lounge furniture and styling we will put you on to suppliers we have worked alongside and would use ourselves.
Can we have bell tents for guests as well?
Yes, and the two go together well: a stretch tent for the gathering, bell tents for the people staying over. Beds and bedding are add-ons, never inside the tent price. Guests can book and pay for their own tent through a free booking page, so you are not chasing money.
How far in advance should we book?
Summer Saturdays go early. For a wedding or a festival, 6 to 18 months out is normal. Smaller events are usually fine at 1 to 3 months.
